We decided to try this cafe a few weeks ago after a walk along the hamble. How i wish we hadn't bothered! We ordered our drinks (after falling over a dog tied up to the bar!) then sat down to study the menu. I am coeliac and dairy intollerant, so as you can imagine, finding something suitable to eat can be a bit of a nightmare. We politely asked the chap at the bar if there was anything suitable he could recommend on the menu..he basically replied that there was nothing nor would they be prepared to make a suitable alternative. We assume this is because the food is pre made and brought in as opposed to being prepared on the premises. How disappointing and very unhelpful. We will not be going back. Needless to say, we left insearch of a more welcoming establishment.

Nice Cafe with lovely food and views

I came here a little while ago with my mum and our dog. We had just been on a long walk along the river and my dog had gone for a swim and was a bit muddy. We sat outside as it was a nice day and had lovely hot drinks. We shared a massive slice of cake and Louis (the dog) was given a fresh bowl of water. The staff were lovely and the drinks and cake were quite cheap too.

Great place to meet the girls for coffee (not meaning to sound sexist) or stop for a bite to eat.

The cafe/restaurant is slap bang right in the middle of gym palace city, where the average boat is worth more than the average house. Ohh to dream of excess and staff! It's agreat palce to meet friends and sit on the terrace soaking up the rays (in the summer of course). Makes you appreciate where we actually live and how lucky we are! The staff are always very accomodating and friendly. They do a fab traditional breakfast with the daily papers, or tasty lunch choices. They also welcome pooches, which sometimes will determin whether we stop or not. Not a bad place to meet.

    Beautiful views

A great little restaurant with amazing views, right in the heart of the marina. A lovely stock of great wines at a very reasonable price considering it's location. The beer is always cold in the summer, the food always comes served hot in the winter. What more do you need. The service is lovely, very friendly. Recommend that you pop in to see what it is like.
