Great Value

As a couple we always choose to eat in the lounge area rather than the more 'family based' restaurant as it is less 'cafe like'. The food is incredibly good value for money. The 'free' salad cart is a starter in itself. Join their email list and you can often get a free dessert. I went for the Sausage and Mash which was lovely and with my free saland and email offer of dessert it meant I had a 3 course meal for £4.99 - what more can I say!

    Harvester - yum

       

    A fantastic place for a cheap and cheerful meal. Very good value basic menu. Help yourself salad is always a staple starter choice or you can orders starters from the menu. I like my food, and find that the salad is plenty. Main courses are basic but delicious, the fries aren't always great though. The puds are just out of this world, we always aim to share a dessert, but end up fighting over it and ordering another!

    A great place to eat

       

    We visited here a while ago and had a lovely meal and service. The staff were excellant and very patient as there were12 children in our party!!!!! they managed to house & feed everyone adequately. thumbs up.

    We've been meaning to visit here for along time as the car park is always full so you think they must be doing something right.

    We finally had an excuse to go last Wednesday night about 6pm, on our way out. The atmosphere was fantasic and staff really friendly and our waiter (althought attending to a table that sat down after us first)was very helpful especially when I cheekly asked if I could try a sauce from another dish.

    At this point I would like to say that the food quality matched this great reception by I can't, the majority was average at best their only saving grace was the spit-roast chicken which really was tantalizingly tasty.
