Great local pub
I have been here several times, as a teenager, always been for a meal. Been here for lunch as well as evening dinners with my family. It gets very busy Friday and Saturday nights so it is worth booking a table if you don't want to wait for ages. But saying this, the service is really very good and we have never had to wait too long.

kids always love this one
This is a great place to meet in the summer. The kids will spend hours bouncing on the tramolines. There's also a play park. So if the kids are happy.....we're happy. The welcoming staff and great food is also a bonus, so if you're family minded, this one is a must.

Lovely boozer
I love this place. Always a welcome from the staff. Fine wines and beers served here at not a bad price. I agree the Sunday roast is pretty delicious. In the summer months there is a great garden (although it is a little way from the bar) where you can take your families along to. They can bounce on the trampolines or play on the swings, but best before they have loads of lunch!!

We had forgotten about this place untill recently when we were looking for somewhere to get a sunday roast, in that annoying time begtween 3 and 6 where it's really difficult to find something to eat.
We at once fell in love with it all over again. It serves by far the best "pub roast" around, has great sevice and staff were very welcoming to us and our children. It also has some of the most wonderful clutter hanging from every wall and ceiling which becomes a great distraction whilst you are waiting for your food.
