Best thing to happen to Locks Heath
Went for my 25th Birthday. Had table booked for 6PM which on a weekend i would recommend as it was very busy. the service was fantastic from the moment we walked through the door. The Menu choice is great and they even made a special dish as i was being fussy over 2 meals on the menu. Which was beautiful and full of flavour. Prices are very reasonable. I will definetely be going back again and again and again. Just what Locks Heath needed!!!

Franco, originally from Calabria, Southern Italy, is an Italian entrepreneur with a passion and a flair for food. As a proud Italian he believes in using the best quality ingredients and is committed to providing exceptional customer service. As the current owner of Panini's Café Bar in Park Gate and of Gallery Slaves (event catering), Franco has extensive experience in starting, owning and running a variety of Italian Catering & Hospitality businesses. He formerly owned two restaurants and managed several others over a period of 20 years.
Paolo, originally from Positano, on the Almalfi coast, is a very talented Italian chef who met Franco over 25 years ago when they were both working at Papagallo's in Winchester. An intense bond was formed between the two men and they have been good friends ever since. Paolo has worked in some of Southampton and London's top restaurants.
Between both of them, they have a huge amount of experience in Italian Restaurants and in providing traditional classics, plus local specials from their respective regions for you to explore and sample.

Excellent lunchtime meal today!
Excellent food on the table promptly for three of us. Very good friendly service. This is a very good restaurant indeed, but don't let everyone know, or we'll never get another table!

Delicious!
My partner and I decided to try Franco and Paulos after it being recommended to us by a friend, with the added bonus of it being within walking distance we thought we'd give it a chance. Well, what can I say, the food was sublime, upon deciding what we would like from the varied menu the very attentive waiter advised us of the days specials, which were many and all very tempting. Settling on a special dish each with starters neither of us was disappointed, and we just had to share our individual food heavens with each other, agreeing that we would definitely return as soon as possible. Absolutely worth the walk, I would also definitely advise booking as they are very popular and in my opinion likely to retain a very strong customer following.

A Lunchtime Visit.........
.........to this restaurant proved a very good move. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The meal was piping hot and extremely tasty. I will certainly return and recommend.

Great service and a friendly atmosphere
We have now visited the restaurant twice and cannot recommend it enough. The food is typical Italian and very tasty: bring your appetite! The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive and friendly. We have tried both the very reasonably priced lunch menu and a Friday evening and although the lunches appear to be quiet enough to just turn up we were lucky that we booked for the Friday as it was very busy. Just what Locks Heath needed, thankyou.

Fantastic pizza!
I visited Franco & Paolo in Locks Heath Centre for lunch this week, and had an amazing pizza. It was also such good value for money as I had the lunch deal (pizza+soft drink £5.95!). I would definitely recommend to everyone this new Italian restaurant!
