Beautiful relaxing pub
This little pub is one of my favourites. The oldy worldy feel is very welcoming, warm and cosy in the winter months and lovely to sit by the river in the summer. It is quite a task to get to as you have to climb a hill from the car park then decend several steps to get to the pub itself, but it is well worth it. Food here is fantastic, the drinks are a little pricey but lovely none the less.

Relaxing River Rest
Beautiful place, its so lovely to sit by the water and watch the river dwellers go about their day, with the odd few tethering they boats on the jolly's jetty and poping in for a quick drink.
This place has such a "history of Bursledon" feel about it, I just love it and the beer's not bad either! just mind not to drink too much or you might find the many steps a bit tricky on the way out. -

Simply love this pub. Consistently good food, great atmosphere. Friendly service. Got my drink wrong, but hey - I'll forgive them. Highly recommended!
