Police are growing concerned for the welfare of a mother and child from the Fareham area since they went missing from their home address in The Gannets on Wednesday, October 28.

Hayley Jessop, 24 and her 3-year-old daughter Elisha have not been seen since they left the address.

Detective Constable Jamie Fagan said: "It is out of character for Hayley to go missing like this and we are growing concerned for both her welfare and that of Elisha.

"Hayley has contacts in Portsmouth and Southampton and she may be in one of these areas.

"I would ask the public to look at their pictures closely and if they believe they have seen them, they should get in touch as soon as possible."
