Operation Hammock, the summer campaign to target Anti-Social Behaviour in the Locks Heath area, begins next week. We will continue to run this throughout the summer and combine this with the ongoing traffic operations we have been running. This has proved effective to date in and around Priory Park and so can be expanded. If you have a problem locally please let me or a member of my team know, or leave a comment here.

Bit of a mixed week really. One dwelling burglary was reported in Warsash where an elderly lady was woken by an intruder. She shouted out and the intruder made off. This matter is now with the priority crime team.
I was out yet again on Friday and Saturday evening with a few of the Team. The only real issue was a small gang of youths wandering around throwing water bombs at passing cars and attempting to get them through open windows in the area of Locks Heath Centre and Priory Park. We found the group eventually, most of whom we already know from previous issues. Searches were completed but nothing of note was found. One of the group who I keep meeting will now be put forward to the Council’s ASB panel with the long-term aim of addressing his behaviour.
There was a call to Longacres where a group of 4 males were drinking and being noisy. The alcohol was located hidden in a nearby bush and disposed of, much to their annoyance, it seemed!
We are still getting theft from motor vehicles, so please keep your vehicles locked and valuables out of sight.
That's it for now. Take care.
