Hampshire’s newest hotel is giving away a free coffee to anyone who donates an Easter egg for its Naomi House children’s hospice Easter appeal.

 

Running until 9 April 2010, the offer applies to anyone who drops off an egg at the new Holiday Inn hotel on Telegraph Way, Winchester where they can enjoy their free coffee in the plush new surroundings of the four-star hotel.

 

The chocolate eggs will be given to the children and families who will be staying at the hospice over the Easter period.

 

During their stay the children will have the opportunity to enjoy hydrotherapy, play sessions and music therapy, whilst their parents have the chance to rest and recover from the exhausting activity of caring for a child with a life-limiting condition.

 

These services are available to children and young people throughout Hampshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Surrey, West Sussex and the Isle of Wight.  

 

Siobhan Thomasson, general manager at the Holiday Inn said: “The hospice does some wonderful work with children and their families at what can only be a very emotional time. We want to collect as many eggs as possible which we hope will bring a smile to all those at the hospice.”

 

Tina Starbuck, corporate fundraiser from the hospice added: ‘We love chocolate at the hospice, and we are looking forward to Easter already! It is very heart warming at this time of year that people are thinking of ways to support us and we are very grateful to the hotel for running this appeal. With less than 15% of our income coming from Government funding, we rely on the generosity of local people and organisations to continue the support we offer”.
