Locks Heath Mum, Christine Rymer has launched a nationwide search for her toddler’s missing pink fleece blanket after the 3-year-old lost it while on a day out in Portsmouth. She believes the blanket may have been dropped in Port Solent.

Made For Mums’ the online parent network reports that the determined mum has studied CCTV footage, made radio appeals and started a Facebook campaign in an attempt to find the blanket.

Christine says of the blanket:

“It’s irreplaceable. Jasmine’s had it since birth and thinks I’ll get it back. I can’t bear to let her down. People can think I’m mad if they like, I don’t care.”

This must have happened to all parents at some point. It has me. My daughter’s comforter is Meow (pictured). Meow is now five years old – two years younger than my daughter. Meow has wandered off several times in the past, most notably for a worrying hour in TKMaxx. (Admittedly I myself have been known to go missing for this length of time in TKMaxx). Thankfully Meow was eventually discovered by the men's coats. Had we not found her I’m not sure what would have happened.

Has anyone else got a similar story?

Has anyone seen a pink fleecy blanket around?
