Counselling really helps!

I went to see Clive at a time where I felt very low. A few things had been bothering me for several months, family friend affairs, personal confidence, family fall-outs and relationship trouble. Clive listened and gave me some techniques which really helped me to learn and understand my emotions. I still have my notes from his sessions and I still look at them today. I stopped going to see Clive after seven sessions purely because of my money situation at the time and I thought I would see how I could get on with the things he told me. The things he told me have definitely helped. He made me understand that all feelings mean something and that it's important what you do with those feelings. My best friend's mum was in intensive care and on a life support machine and I really believe that understanding myself more and the advice Clive gave me really helped me to deal with the situation. We also went over “Fat Breaths” - a breathing technique which I use quite a lot! If I’m angry or stressed. I definitely would recommend Clive to anybody who would just like to talk about things. Even if something bad has happened and you just don’t know what to do or how to deal with it or if your just feeling down in general. Clive is very friendly and a very approachable man. It was nice to feel comfortable around him as I’d never done counselling before. People including myself are always scared of the word “counselling” but Clive is simply there to listen and give advice / support as best he can. He made me understand myself better, and it did feel like I had known Clive for years which was really nice. I never thought that telling what was at first a stranger all of my problems would do any good, but it really did. He saw things in a different perspective which is what I needed. Massive thank you to you Clive for what you did, Take care & Happy Christmas. Abby

    Recommendation

I would just like to share my story- I started to feel a strange feeling about the start of December, I felt this feeling occasionally over the month. I finally plucked up the courage to see my doctor whom diagnosed me with anxiety. I was advised by her that there were 2 option 1 was therapy but there would be a 6 month waitlist on nhs, or second was antidepressants. I obviously opted for antidepressants to try and stop this feeling. I had really bad symptons from the side affect that we're caused by the antidepressants so I stopped taking them. I felt lost, alone and in a very deep state of sadness at this point thinking will I actually ever get over this anxiety. I done some research about therapy and then I found Clive. I phone him immediately after reading about his therapy work. I have currently completed 4 sessions with Clive and I have seen improvements over the course of my therapy. I would recommend Clive to anyone who is thinking about therapy, cognitive behavorial therapy has helped me gratley and I would just like to take this opportunity to say thank you. Thanks Clive, see u Tuesday

    Highly Recommended Counsellor

It was a hard decision to seek counselling. To talk to someone about my most private thoughts was not something I wanted to do, however, having done this I realise it was propably the best thing I could have done. Takling to Clive has helped me to lift the fog that was clouding over life. With his help, suggestions and advice I am starting to be able to lift the fog and think more clearly.

I would recommend Clive to anyone.

    Recommended, trustworthy Counsellor

I am a successful businesswoman but with a history of personal failure, unfulfilling relationships and depression. Mental illness still has a stigma attached to it so I have decided to speak openly about mine. After escaping an abusive marriage I decided to seek some counselling and chose Clive Lubert at BuiltClever. My counselling is ongoing but already I am improving my outlook on life. Clive has improved my self worth and self confidence. He has helped me to like the person I truly am rather than be afraid of her. I no longer feel I need to justify my feelings or my actions but accept that I am a 'normal' woman, worthy of love and success. I no longer feel guilty at my successes and my failings. I would wholeheartedly recommend his counselling. Thank you Clive.
