Sparrow: Hampshire Bird Fair on 19th September at manor Farm
The Hampshire Bird Festival began on 14th February this year. It is a year long celebration of the birds of this county. A wide range of organisations have been running walks and events throughout Hampshire to celebrate the diverse birdlife we have here.
On Sunday's Fair there will be lots of family activities - you will be able to meet birds of prey, wander around the stalls and watch demonstrations from Hampshire's conservation bodies. Now the winter months are rapidly approaching you can also learn how to provide for the birds in your garden.
The Fair begins at 10am and entry is free (although you will need to pay for parking) and finishes at 4pm.
The results of the Hampshire House Sparrow Survey closed on 30 June and the results will soon be available on the website.
