We’re working late again this week! Locks Heath / Western Wards Police report for 12th August
By SNTFPWEST | Thursday, August 12, 2010, 16:59
Happily the spate of
-
Sergeant Dave Spacey Locks Heath's Park Gate West Safer Neighbourhoods Team
burglaries reported last week has not continued into this week. We have however
had an incident of several cars being scratched over the last weekend. We
believe this is linked to a party in the Titchfield Common area. In the same
area a dispute occurred between neighbours resulting in the arrest of one but
at this time it is not clear if the two matters are linked.
In fact most of the Western
Wards are relatively quiet at this time and the Anti Social Behaviour Ops
continue. Sarisbury Green has suffered again however. This time with damage to
equipment, which resulted in operations being conducted by the Team. One youth
was detained and dealt with for smashing a window in Sarisbury School but there
have been no further problems reported.
Once again we will be
working late on Thursday and Friday with specific areas being targeted due to
past issues. If you feel you have a problem with Anti Social Behaviour then
please get in touch and we will take a look.
Finally I have made
enquiries regarding SNT being equipped with speed guns. There is still no
definitive answer but there are trials taking place around the New Forest. When
these are completed hopefully we will know either way as to whether or not they
will be issued. You can read Tina’s story on Speeding in the Western Wards
here.
Till next week.
