Good afternoon.

Once again we have seen a spattering of minor damages and thefts. It is coming to that time of year where I would ask that you ensure that valuables are not left in cars and that wherever possible cycles etc are secure even when left in the shed or garage.

In respect of Priory Park this has got better following several high visibility and covert OPs. As a result several youths are having information gathered against them to support ASBO applications and others have been dealt with via the Council's Housing Dept. I would like to thank the residents for their help and support in respect of this. There are still matters outstanding in this area and we are working closely with the Council and residents to address them. The idea is to try and prevent similar problems in the future as this group grow up and move on allowing the next generation to fill their shoes in a similar fashion.

Don't forget you can access the latest information on a whole range of crime types and compare our area with with other neighbourhoods on the new Crimemapper website. You can access the details of your local neighbourhood policing team, policing priorities and information on the policing pledge as well as find out about local events we are holding.

Until next Week take care.
