Don Pedro returns from the wars with his entourage to take up residence with his old friend Leonato. Will his best friends Benedick, a confirmed bachelor and Claudio, who is deeply in love with Leonato's daughter, Hero, follow their hearts? Or will a series of overheard conversations and events prevent true love shining through?
