Steamy & Ghostly Goings On

October is when the steam engines that live on our site start getting ready to be put to bed for the winter. Before they do we have a big extravaganza and get as many of them out in the courtyard as possible. It should be a really good display this year as we have visiting engines coming along to make the most of our hard surfaces – so many events have had to be cancelled this year because of the rain they are all keen to have a final go at showing off their magnificent machines!

And for those of you not so mad about steam engines why not come along and find out about our ghosts. We have our paranormal team on hand to tell you all about their findings to date. We also have lots of ghostly things for children to enjoy..... and because it is nearly Halloween we are going to have some visiting owls and also some experts with a display all about bats. We have resident bats (at least one is rare) and ghosts at the Brickworks and are very kind to both!!
