i actually found the owner to be rude and unhelpful. I would be surprised if they are still there this time next year as the service is awful and the sanwiches overpriced and of a tesco value style quality.

Visited Paninis a couple of months ago...first visit and possibly last visit !!.. Staff not very helpful, food and drinks overpriced...
Went to sit outside and had to clear the dirty table before we could use it.  Adjoining table not cleared the whole time we were there.  Staff spent more time chatting at the rear than looking to satisfy customers.  Once bitten, twice shy...not a good addition to Park Gate.

    Dear All,
Found it surprising and  astonishing the last posted comments ,I have a local business  in the area and  have had so for a number of years ,until these guys came along all we had was a bakery  selling awful sandwiches at inflated prices, and you think Paninis is overpriced !! I would like to defend and commend what this outlet has done and brought in these tough times to our area , they have brought fresh ideas and a huge selction for you to choose from and everything is made fresh in front of you.  I have over the a last year or so  got to know the owners firstly on a professional basis which has developed into a friendship one , indeed they do all my catering for my business lunches and their personality, approach and enthusiasm reflects in what they produce, in fact very surprising to hear that the owner was rude and unhelpful I have found them to be the total opposite couldn't do  enough for you and nothing is too much trouble.
As for  IVOR I don`t know if the Panini management log on onto this blog but I will make them aware of your comments  especially, over chatting  unhelpful staff, etc.. I am  sure that they will be disappointed to hear of  your findings  but  at the same time will appreciate you bringing this to their attention..but  I  have  to agree to disagree with you about their prices ..in my industry I travel and use a lot of food outlets ,how can you justify them being overpriced ? maybe you are comparing them to a good old fashioned greasy spoon cafe !! if so, then your`re right, but that`s exactly what they are not... compare them to a to any  local sandwich bar or subway or a Costa coffee and you will be surprised by your findings  !!   I have found them to be very competitive and so do my staff !!
Most would probably disagree with your comments of a not a good addition to Park gate, businesses in the community have embraced Paninis being here and lets hope that they are here to stay.
I`m  almost certain it is a year that they have been opened and they are  busy as ever and above all still here ... maybe Ivor you need to get out more and keep in touch with the real world !!!

Paninis keep up the good you are doing.

With that War & Peace epic, you must surely get another 10% off your business agreement with Panini's?

My response to LH viewer is, I do not have any  business agreement with them and nor do  I expect anything back in return for posting my comments .
I find it very annoying that people hide behind  computer screens writing derogatory remarks like dug dales & Native locks ( who as it happens can`t even spell sandwiches and begins sentences without capitals )  about him thinking that sandwiches were  of Tesco quality and I would be surprised if they were here this time next year !! comments like these can potentially harm businesses and give false impressions ,if you have a complaint or not happy about something why can`t  you tallk to someone face to face  and speak to management direct ,in my opinion it is all just too easy sitting in front of a computer writing cowardly  harmful remarks.

I have been into Panini's may times and found the staff friendly and hard working. The food is fab and not the same old run of the mill. Its clean and prices are very reasonable. Hope we dont lose such a great addition to Park Gate. WHAT DO YOU WANT A CAFE THAT SELLS MUGS OF TEA AND A BORING SANDWICH FOR A FEW PENCE LESS. I know that most people I talk to are very happy with PANINI'S. Keep up the good work, will be in soon.

Well Danda...Forgetting your remarks about Paninis,( we all have a right to our opinions), my wife and I ran restaurants, most successfully for many years, so your point about "getting  out more in the real world" sort of fell on deaf ears.  Two types of critisisms my friend...constructive and destructive...my critisism was intended to be constructive.   Far better to open your eyes to what you actually see...not what you want to see.
We will try Paninis again...maybe our remarks have had the desired effect...we shall see.

    Hi E Danda.

Do you know the owners? I was about to write a review for Park Gate Panini's in the Business section of the website - however as they are still a relatively new business they aren't listed. Unfortunately I can't request that they be added - they have to do that themselves. Would you like to suggest this to them?

The link to the Business section is here:
