ROYAL MAIL DEPOT, SARISBURY GREEN - just been to collect a parcel and discovered that their yard is now closed to the public due to 'Health & Safety'. The notice advises customers to park in Pine Walk - what about our health and safety lugging parcels back to our cars? Were the people of Pine Walk consulted about this?

I agree about your point of whether the residents of Pine Walk have been 'consulted' about this (or even told). I went to pick a parcel from there Tuesday and there was a flip-chart just outside the gates saying that the parking was no longer available due to "15 new Royal Mail" vans having to use the parking within the depot, then when I went inside the collection area, a sign on the wall said the loss of parking was due to Health & Safety. I had to go back again today - and the flip-chart had been removed, the Health & Safety sign was still there - but there were definitely a large number of 'new' vans parked in the depot, so .....
Another 'restructuring' of the local service that we - the paying members of the service - had neither warning of, or consultation about.
As I left, there were a number of cars parked on the verges leading up to the surgery etc, which I would deem a more serious Health & Safety issue.
