OK then. Discussion time: who makes better drivers - men or women?

ReportIt depends if the woman is driving a people carrier (with one child in it)?

ReportI'm a bloke and I drive like a chimp so I assume it's women.

ReportPersonally I think that anyone who thinks they're a good driver probably isn't. I'm a terrible driver...

I think it is the mindset of the driver which governs their driving. If they are rushing or distracted, which women often are by kids, not enough hours in the day etc. then that can affect their driving. Equally men get distracted and sometimes react angrily to other motorists, making them less conscious of their own actions. The first thing you learn as an advanced driver is to lose the "red mist". We all make errors on the road sometimes, and a "Sorry" can defuse a situation, or on the other hand...have a think...did I ever do something like that when a bit distracted? The answer is probably yes.
I think it is important to make sure you have enough time for your journey....better to be late than to not get there at all.
Male? Female? Good and Bad on both sides I think.
