Mr Phil Munday, Principal at The Henry Cort Community College said, “We have thoroughly enjoyed welcoming the Royal Navy to our community. It provides an excellent opportunity for us to further support our young people to reach their full potential and encourage them to respect the selfless sacrifice, courage and exemplary service of our British troops.”


Mr Munday is keen to explore plans for future liaison with the Royal Navy and to ensure that young people at The Henry Cort Community College understand and respect the magnificent men and women serving in our Armed Forces on the frontline.


All the houses at The Henry Cort Community College are colour coded. Triumph is in fact yellow so the lyrics “We all live in a yellow submarine” seem particularly apt!
