Just after midday on Wednesday, November 11 a young mother was at home at an address on Hunts Pond Road, Locks Heath, with her baby. She heard a noise and looked out of her window to see a man in her back garden. The man had entered the rear conservatory. The woman shouted out and the man fled the garden by climbing over the locked side gate. He then ran out of the front garden and turned right towards Warsash Road. The man is described as: * White * In his late teens to early 20s * Short light brown hair * Slim build * Approximately 5ft 9ins * Wearing a grey jacket which appeared to be two tone or light/dark grey striped, and blue jeans Police Staff Investigator Jane Dye from the Gosport and Fareham Priority Crime Team, said: "I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to come forward. The house is located on Hunts Pond Road near to the junction with Prelate Way. Were you in the area during this time? Did you see or hear anything suspicious? "It is possible that someone may have seen the offender running from the front of the house. Did anyone see him get into a car, or running towards Warsash Road or along Netley Road? "As always I would urge residents to keep their windows and doors locked at all times, even when they are at home, to help reduce the chance of becoming victim to an opportunist burglar." Anyone with any information in relation to this incident should contact Jane Dye at Gosport police station on 101, or call Crimestoppers, the charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
