De-clutter your home for Marie Curie Cancer Care

Locks Heath Shopping Village in Southampton is

encouraging shoppers to de-clutter their homes and donate their unwanted gifts

and clothes to charity shop, Marie Curie Cancer Care, which is located within

the shopping village.

Cancer Care is one of the leading cancer care charities in the country and the

support they give to millions of cancer patients and their families is

vital. 

A recent

survey suggested that we only wear 20% of our clothes 80% of the time and that

our homes are cluttered with unworn clothing. The survey also indicates that

getting rid of excess clutter would eliminate 40% of the housework in an

average home1.

Goodridge, Centre Manager of Locks Heath Shopping Village, commented:

"It is always refreshing to give your home a

good clear out and that is why we are encouraging our shoppers to get rid of

any unwanted items. However, a lot of people forget about charity shops when

disposing of their belongings even though the money raised goes to amazing
