I came here firstly with school, then again with my family. It is a lovely working piece of history. Very interesting and if you are lucky you may be able to make your own bag of flour to take away with you. The people that show you around have real enthusiasm that you cant help to get into the experience too.

I have a real affinity for windmills and it is just tremendous to have one on our door step like this, a real look back into the history of Burlsedon.
The last time I visited was when I was helping on a school trip and all the children found it fasinating. It was a real hands on experience, they got to grind the wheat by hand before going right up to the top of the mill to see how wind power is used to do it for us.
It was a real eye opener for some who just didn't realise how bread was made.
An educational experience made fun.
