I love this nature reserve. I walk here a lot with my family, but it is definately best in the summer. It is very peaceful and if you avoid the weekends, it is nearly always quiet. You can spend a whole day here if you bring a picnic along, be advised though that it is preferred to take your rubbish home with you. A lovely place to go on a guided workshop or just explore for yourself.

If you like your natural conservation then you should visit this pretty little nature reserve. The conservation team run workshops throughout the year for old & new. You can go on bat hunts, pond dipping, nature trails and craft days. Or just spend a peaceful afternoonmeandering through the woodland walks. My family love it here, sometimes it's busy with dog walkers and other times we don't see another sole. We take our buckets and nets, some sandwiches, and often spend a chilled afternoon, busy doing nothing.
