The next Western Wards Community Action Team Meeting (CAT) will take place on Wednesday 20th March 2013 at Locks Heath Free Church from 7.00pm to 8.30pm.

This will be the first meeting since the consultation on the Locks Heath Masterplan closed, so it will be a good opportunity to hear some of the ideas that have been put forward by residents about how to re-develop the District Centre.

Chairman for Western Ward's Community Action Team Meeting, Councillor Michael Ford said: "During our consultation at the end of last year hundreds of people responded to tell us how they think the District Centre should be updated. We'll be giving a presentation on this feedback tonight so you can find out which ideas have been the most popular among the community. There'll be another chance to have your say and ask questions about it."

During the evening there will also be an update from the local police, more info about patient transport services in Locks Heath and you can find out about funding for local projects.

CAT meetings are a great place for you to raise any issues, questions or suggestions you may have about your local community and to catch up with your local Councillors.

More information about CATs can be found online or by emailing cats@fareham.gov.uk.
