The Dani King Cycleway stretches from Bursledon to Hamble-le-Rice
The safe cycling route runs along Hamble Lane from near the junction with Portsmouth Road in Bursledon, to its junction with Copse Lane near to Hamble-le-Rice.
The cycle route passes Dani’s old primary school and Hamble Community Sports College where she started her cycling career. It also runs close to her parents’ home. Dani said "It is an honour to have a cycle path named after me. When people ride along it I hope it will remind them of the legacy of the Olympics and inspire them to keep fit and enjoy sport".
